    Abstract

Parliament's changes to the jury selection procedures were rushed and made without due though to transition provisions or other practical considerations. That task was begun by the Supreme Court of Canada with R v Chouhan , 2021 SCC 26, and Bhogal and Martin (reported below at p 372) show that judges continue to wrestle with those issues, but much work remains to be done.
