Abstract
In 2020, five years will have passed since the adoption of the International Code for Ships Operating in Polar Waters (Polar Code) by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The Code is the international standard for navigation and shipping in both Antarctic and Arctic waters, perhaps appropriately described as 'polarworthiness'.
