About
Professor Kaiser has taught law at Dalhousie since 1979 and in the Residency Training Program at the Department of Psychiatry since 1995. Professor Kaiser has taught General Jurisprudence, Contracts, Poverty Law, and various competitive moots at the Schulich School of Law and Legal Issues in Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry.
He has been involved with many organizations that advocate for persons with mental health problems, including the Healthy Minds Cooperative, reachAbility, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Nova Scotia division, and the Mental Health and the Law Advisory Committee of the Mental Health Commission of Canada. He also participates in continuing judicial and bar education conferences, as well as public legal-education events.
